Global Forwarding Freight – South Africa has an opening for an Intern where you will be providing high-level administrative management support to CEO SSA by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings for CEO as well as being responsible for the preparation of presentation material and provide strong follow-up on main topics with other colleagues.  Join us now in connecting people and improving lives.

In this Intern position

  • You will interpret and implement policies and procedures to accomplish the mission of the organization.
  • You will support the executive through responding to inquiries, resolving problems as advised or to sensitive or confidential issues that require high level public relations and interpersonal skills.
  • You will actively organize management’s scheduling needs.
  • You will support with special projects & events.
  • You will propose marketing/branding for SSA.
  • You will rearrange schedules to accommodate last-minute changes and emergency cancellations.
  • You will arrange and facilitate meetings, ensuring all parties can attend.
  • You will prepare documents for external or internal communications.
  • You will analyze data and create reports to deliver to upper management.
  • You will plan and facilitate company-wide events or official correspondence, reports, budgets, research papers and other complex documents.
  • You will attend meetings as directed by Executives’ and take minutes of the meetings as required.
  • You will assist with presentations and proposals when necessary.
  • You will liaise with travel in coordinating and arranging accommodation booking accordance with company policy.

Now, here’s what we need from you

  • Degree in business Management or related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in business management and support
  • 2-3 years’ experience with financial and customer service principles
