Job Advert Summary
Rand Water is currently looking for a Change Management Consultant to plan, manage and facilitate the Change Management solutions in support of the Group Finance Transformation Projects across the organisation. This role encompasses but not limited to, leading the processes connected to change management implementing and embedding the integrated Change Management plans through the alignment of people to systems and processes within finance and in the organization at large.
The position is output based and support a dynamic project-based environment. Portfolio of deliverables are expected weekly to ensure smooth execution of project deadlines. Design, manage and execute all Stakeholder, Communication, Impact assessment, Training and Support Strategies, using structured processes, relevant methodologies, and project Management disciplines.
Minimum Requirements
Honours Degree in Behavioural Science, Organisational Development, Change Management or equivalent. Master’s Degree is advantageous
Minimum of 8 years in Transformation and Change Management Consulting, multi-project and Programme environment experience; finance or systems related is advantageous
Implementation of Project Management Office experience a plus
Advanced computer literacy proficiency
Valid Code 8 driver’s license
Primary Duties
Define the Change Management frameworks in support of the Group Finance transformation journey
Design and implement and organisation wide change management and stakeholder management frameworks, strategies and plans in support of the Group Finance projects
Integrate the change management strategies and plans across the Group Finance projects
Implement the organisation wide change management programmes and interventions at strategic, tactical, and operational levels of the organization
Define, implement, and manage changes that impact on people, systems, and process in support of the Group Finance projects
Evaluation and ensuring the readiness for change
Analysis, data collection, and feedback efforts in order to provide insights into change management effectiveness and continuous improvements
Development of a Project Management Office, Processes & Procedures, Governance, and guide project methodologies
Define and facilitate the project team support and monitoring plans
Identify, analyse, and prepare risk mitigation tactics to support change adoption and project success as required
Define and implement the project team effectiveness support plans
Implement a Change Benefits tracking system
Develop and manage the post implementation change management support plans
Co creation and ultimate quality assurance of the appointed Change Management suppliers’ deliverables
Develop and implement a finance cultural framework within the Rand Water culture
Develop a Behavioural thumbprint for Finance and the implementation plan
Continuous gap analysis to Identify Change Management Initiatives for Finance and implementation plans
Prepare and coach Change Leadership within the finance team for sustainability
