Intern 18.2 Graduate Engineering Electrical: Sibanye Still Water- Mpumalanga

Your manager should be aware of and support your application. Pre-screening and psychometric evaluation may form part of the selection process. Minimum Required Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical)

Only degrees from the recognised South African Universitie will be accepted.


The Appointee should:

Have a relevant degree (and / or higher) when applying for an internship programme

Submit a letter from DMRE to confirm subjects verified for GCC Examination

Upload certified (SAPS) copies of ID, qualifications and academic record online. Incomplete submissions / uploads will be considered null and void.

Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-bassed medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Care Centre.

Additional Requirements:

A limited number of positions are being offered to the local and labour sending community members for a full time study opportunity in line with the Sibanye’s business needs in the Electrical Engineering discipline

Beneficiaries of the internship programme will receive a 2 year* fixed-term training contract to obtain post-graduate experience.

The selection process will not be delayed to accommodate applicants whose screening process is delayed for whatsoever reason.


Key Responsibilities:

Programme Objectives • Ensure that programme objectives and associated tasks are well understood. • Ensure that all phases of the developmental programme are completed within the specified timeframe. • Ensure that all queries and concerns associated with the programme and completion thereof are escalated where necessary. Discipline Specific Duties • Adhere to all company policies, standards and procedures. • Perform all assigned tasks in a safe manner. • Assist team members in the implementation of initiatives and programmes. • Capturing and reporting of information. • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures. Reporting • Compile reports and arrange discussion of progress with the appropriate supervisor / development stakeholder. • Report all inconsistencies and obstacles. • Report and communicate ideas and recommendations. Stakeholder Relations • Ensure effective team relationships and support. • Build and maintain partnerships and relationships with all stakeholders within the business and communities. • Engage relevant stakeholders to gain the necessary business and community context. • Support and promote a positive work environment.
